Formalizing the Organisation
Being a formal organisation is necessary before we sign a lease on a space, open a bank account and create membership contracts for you. We need to become (or partner with) an incorporated non-profit organisation. If you have suggestions, we'd love to hear them.
Building the Inventory
We rely on kind donations to grow the tool inventory. Once received, tools need cleaning, fixing, photographing, cataloging and organising before they are available for rental. Please send us a message if you have tools to donate or if you want to help.
We will be hosting workshops at community events throughout the summer, supporting other organisations and promoting the Library. If you would like to be involved in delivering these workshops to the public, please get in touch!
Finding a Space
We're looking for the perfect spot to open shop. In the long term, we hope to operate within a large Makerspace, but for now we only need about 400-500 square feet, but it needs to be visible and accessible. Know somewhere we can hang out? Please let us know.
